Eye Wear
We know that fitting smaller heads can be difficult with standard children’s frames and so we offer a customised fitting service for our young patients who need spectacles whether they have been prescribed by us, another Optometrist or the hospital eye service.
We know that getting little ones to keep their glasses on can be a challenge and have found that it helps if the frames that fit really well and are as comfortable as possible. To make this as easy as possible, we offer a fitting service for our young patients and can order frames which can be customised in width, nose fit and side length – not forgetting colour!
Tomato
Safe, adjustable and comfortable tomato glasses weigh between 6 and 9g and have cushions on the tip so they don’t press on ears. The frames are flexible and robust. As every child’s face is unique the side lengths and position so the nose pieces can be altered to achieve that perfect fit. All tomato glasses come with an attachable strap which helps prevent slipping and provide great security for active children.
Miraflex
A signature line of Italian made, full plastic glasses with no metal parts (BPA free, rubber free, latex free and hypo-allergenic) make Miraflex frames one of the safest options for your child. 15 sizes, 6 models and 32 colours allows you to find the perfect design while we find the perfect fit. Designed with both low and high prescriptions in mind and an elasticated band which keeps the frame seated properly on the face. Miraflex sunglasses are also available.
